What gives this salad a name is the way it’s been decorated, I am giving you the recipe I have used (again my design) but you can really use any type of salad and decorate this way.
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts-2 pieces cut in 2 cm wide and full length
Eggs- 6 boiled , grated
Cheese- 100 g ,grated, cheddar is good for this.
Grapes- seedless cut in half,around 300 g
Flat Parsley for decoration
Mayonnaise
Oil for frying
For marinade
Soy sauce-1 teaspoon
Smoked paprika-1 teaspoon
Salt-1/2 teaspoon
Oil-2 teaspoons
Directions:
Marinate your chicken for 1 hour.
Heat an oil in a pan and cook chicken pieces till browned and when you pierce them no blood comes out. Set aside to cool.
Prepare a large plate and draw the grape vine outline and fill it with mayonnaise.
Shredd chicken pieces with your fingers.
Lay down half of chicken pieces on the outline. Add some mayonnaise on top.
Second layer if half of grated eggs
Third is grated cheese.
Repeat all the layers. I didn’t put any extra salt, as it was not necessary.
If you feel like the whole structure is falling down, don’t panic, wet your hands and mold it all together.
Decorate with grapes and parsley.
Leave in a fridge to set for at least 2 hours before eating.
WOW, now that’s a salad!
