Chicken Kiev. Step by step recipe.

Ingredients:

2 Chicken breasts cut out of the whole chicken with a bone attached. See the pictures below.

150 g Butter

Dill

Garlic

Salt, pepper

1 egg bitten

1 cup of freshly ground bread

1/2 cup of flour

Directions

Remove a skin from chicken breasts, cut the tips of the wings.

Cut out the breasts with wing attached.

You will end up with two breasts with wings attached.

Now, remove all the meat from a bone, so it looks like this.

Remove the tenderloin.

Place the breasts between two pieces of a cling film and beat it till flattened .

Season with salt and pepper.

Do the same with tenderloins.

Mix the softened butter with dill , chopped garlic and a pinch of salt. Roll into a log 2 cm in diameter , wrap in a cling film and place in a freezer for 30 min.

Place a piece of a butter mixture in a middle of breast, and cover it tightly with a piece  of a tenderloin.

Then, fold it like a cocoon.

Prepare 3 plates, with flour, bitten eggs and ground bread.

First place a chicken in a flour, then egg mixture and finally in bread crumbs. Repeat.

Preheat an oven to 180C.

Heat an oil in a pot. Make sure its enough to cover the chicken.

Cook a chicken breast in an oil till browned, transfer to a tray and finish cooking in the oven for 12 minutes.
